Three weeks left and counting.
I gave a test to my students yesterday. I told them they could earn 50 bonus points if they could think of three jobs in which it is acceptable to be late.
Definitely made my point.

For what it’s worth, I use pseudonyms and secret identities (Cap’n for a supervisor, Himbo for a dashing idiot I have to work “with,” etc.) for the guests I rant about. It’s an inside joke to those who read what I know, and I have a better face on them when I tell my stories.
Good luck in what happens next. I too send in about a dozen a year to the office--the first is often in November, but this year, it was February! Woo-hoo! But only because the office-worthy offenses list shrank. :-D
